Walk in Nature is a cultural association founded in 2018, dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of Sicily. Our mission is to promote the Iblean region’s landscapes and Etna Mount, traditions, and green spaces through guided tours led by certified experts. We aim to inspire awareness of Sicily’s incredible heritage, fostering a deeper connection with nature and local culture.
Our Story
Walk in Nature founded in 2018, with a predominantly female character. It is composed of expert guides who became professionals after completing a theoretical and practical professional training course organized by Federescursionismo Sicilia, earning the relevant certificate and badge recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development.
Our Goals
Walk in Nature fully embraces the 12 objectives of FederEscursionismo Sicilia. These include promoting the natural beauty of Sicily, particularly the Iblean region, as well as preserving and enhancing green areas, local traditions, and cultures. Walk in Nature aims to awaken awareness and appreciation of the incredible natural heritage of this wonderful island: Sicily.

“We went on a 4x4 Jeep sunset tour. Unfortunately because of the weather we didn't quite get to see the sunset but the tour was still fantastic. We got to see lava cave, fields and silvestri craters. Our guide Luca was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about history and current state of the volcano.”
